In the Name of God is a site-specific installation by Studio Nucleo, an Italian art and design collective known for its experimental approach to materiality and form, developed in collaboration with Ramo d’Oro and presented in a space within Turin’s historic Galleria Umberto I that remained closed for decades. The work consists of two suspended replicas of GMLRS missiles intersecting to form a cross. Addressing the proliferation of military conflicts worldwide, the installation examines the visual and symbolic mechanisms through which violence is legitimised and circulated in the media.
