In this exhibition, Apparatus 22 engages with the fragile “after-afterparty” as a liminal condition between escapism and its collision with reality, between excitement and exhaustion, anxiety and daydreaming. The project reflects on how the intensity and freedom of nightlife can be translated into forms of critique, opening gaps within dominant structures of everyday life. Central to the project is the notion of SUPRAINFINIT, a term coined by the collective to describe a parallel universe beyond the infinite – close to our world in appearance, but operating as a speculative and utopian space for testing ideas around identity, politics, and cultural definitions.
